Dr. Sean Hewitt is a malaria control specialist and epidemiologist with 35 years of experience in global health and development. As founder of VBDC Consulting, he has led more than 150 assignments in 27 countries, influenced community-based malaria policy, contributed to major funding proposals, and served on the Global Fund’s Mekong Monitoring Panel since 2019.

Dr. Pedro Suarez is a public health leader with more than 30 years of experience in TB and TB/HIV program development, management, and technical assistance across 23 countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. From 2004 to April 2025, he managed a global TB and TB/HIV portfolio valued at $230 million, and has authored or co-authored 47 book chapters, 57 peer-reviewed articles, and over 200 abstracts on TB control.
